Keith Vogt
Keith M. Vogt, MD, PhD is an assistant professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh and faculty in the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.  He is also a practicing anesthesiologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, with special interest in neuroanesthesia. Dr. Vogt received his M.D. and Ph.D. (in Biomedical Engineering) from the Medical Scientist Training Program at The Ohio State University. Dr. Vogt serves as Director of Neuroscience Research in his department, and his own research program uses functional MRI and complimentary neuroscience techniques to better understand systems-level changes in the human brain during the administration of anesthesia. Dr. Vogt is also an educational innovator, having developed several programs for research education and training for medical students and residents in anesthesiology.
