Ken Solt
Ken Solt, MD is Associate Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and Director of Translational Research and Innovation in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has conducted research in anesthetic mechanisms for nearly two decades, and currently directs a translational research program that investigates how subcortical neural circuits are involved in anesthetic-induced unconsciousness and recovery from general anesthesia.

In addition to active research funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. Solt has received the NIH Director’s Transformative Research Award and the James S. McDonnell Foundation Scholar Award. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC) and is an Associate Editor of Anesthesiology and Frontiers in Neuroscience.
